Fox vocals....

Im starting to learn more about fox vocals. I think there has been plenty of time, I have been out in the woods, and find myself listening to a bark in the distance, only to finally realize that this isnt a lost house dog, and it doesnt sound like a coyote! Its a Fox!
Now, where im from there are not a lot of Fox. Oh yes, you see the occasional red fox time to time, hopping the highway or crossing a ditch. Gray fox are even more keen, rarely being seen. But knowing that these little critters make just as much conversation as the bigger cousins (Canis latran) Its pretty cool. Next time out you might just hear this neat little critter.......

Ya know, I can't recall ever hearing what I knew was a Fox barking. I do know where we might be able to call one in though next time I'm down there!
